Refund and Return Policy


Before you return a Dwarka Art product, please take a moment to understand how our products are made. At Dwarka Art the process is as important as a product.

All our products are handcrafted by traditional skilled artisans of Rajasthan, India, resulting in each product being unique and slightly different from each other.

Let’s not think of slight variations in shape or color as a defect, it should rather be celebrated as a product with soul of an artisan. Handicraft by definition means a glorious uncertainty when it comes to uniformity.

In spite of these variables, at Dwarka Art we stand behind the quality of our products and we will replace the product free of cost in case of any manufacturing defect, damage in transit or difference in descriptions of the product.

You should expect to receive your refund within 7-10 days of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.

Our products are handcrafted by artisans with utmost care and love. Due to handcrafting and hand finishing, slight variations in finish is expected and celebrated. Each item is unique and no 2 are exactly alike.

Shades displayed across the range of products may slightly vary from the actual color. This may happen due to multiple settings in your monitor or viewing device (Laptop/ Mobile/Tab) or impact of our digital photo shoots. We request you to consider these minor variations.

All products can be returned within 7 days of delivery for the following reasons: Damage/Dead on Arrival, Manufacturing defect/Expired Product and In-correct product.

If you need to return an item, simply click on “Returns & Refunds” at the footer of the home page, enter your order number and registered email address and select the product you wish to return. We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item.

Custom made Orders
These special-order items are made to your individual specifications; therefore, we cannot accept returns or exchanges. We require a 50% deposit for all Additional Color, Additional Frame and Custom order merchandise. Once you place your order for Additional Color, Additional Frame or Custom merchandise, you have 72 hours to change or cancel. After 72 hours, your 50% deposit is nonrefundable. The 72-hour time frame begins as soon as you place your order and confirm your fabric selection in a store or online. For Personalization orders, the full amount is required at time of purchase; personalized items cannot be returned, exchanged or canceled at any time and are nonrefundable.



  1. What is the time period for receiving a refund? Refunds are processed within 7 business days of receipt of returned products in its original packaging. The refund period is inclusive of the time that is taken for completing the refunds process by Dwarka, but excludes any delays that may arise through the bank or card issuers, or the total shipment time with regard to cheque refunds.

  1. How will I obtain the refund? All refunds (excluding cash payments) will be carried out through the same method of transaction used while purchasing the products. For instance, if you use a credit card to place the order, the purchase amount will be refunded to your credit card. Refunds for payments made through cash will be carried out either by an Account Payee Cheque in the name of the customer (stated as “billing name” at the time of purchase), or an online bank transfer through NEFT to the bank account of the customer.

  1. I have made a “Part Payment” order that includes multiple items and now wish to cancel one of the items. What will be refund procedure? If your order does not contain any lighting products, you can proceed with the cancellation according to the cancellation policy and obtain a partial refund. 30 percent of the value of the products that have been cancelled will be refunded to your bank account or card. Kindly note that the cash on delivery (COD) component of your order’s remaining items will remain the same, and the refund amount will not be adjusted to them.

  1. I have still not received any refund to my banking account. Why? For orders placed through prepaid methods, the amount will be credited to your card or bank account. For COD orders, the total order amount will be refunded to your bank account via NEFT. All refunds get processed and a transaction number is allotted after which the amount will be credited to your bank account within a period of 7 business days.
